They look like they will be able to adjust quite well to the move to Alabama. They can eat and roost anywhere.

Steve, I just laughed out loud reading this...snowshoes and goggles...I can see it now! Living near Lake Ontario where the gulls will steel your hotdog right out of your bun while at the beach...they've been called much worse names than dumpster chickens...but at least my guineas didn't actually dive in!!!

Sharon, Guineas are supposed to be great for eating ticks and bugs in your garden. I got them for the tick eating hoping it would help us out. Now that we're moving to Alabama, I'm wondering if they will eat cottonmouth snakes and chiggers...I don't even know if I've spelled that right!....

You are crazy....Ok now I've decided to move to Oregon...or you can expect a shipment of guinea fowl any day now...they are used to great quantities of snow and will teach your chickens a few things about flying. No ramps required!!!! And I'll have you know that dumpster was strategically placed next to the house for maximum chuck value!!!!...
