They are just telling you that they will travel any way and any how as long as they get to visit Alabama with you??? I am always fascinated at how big they are...
Eve, I can tell these are your babies. I think I'll do a little research about Guineas so I can find out what they're all about. Can you tell one from another?
What a great header picture! I think those Guinea's need to head over to Steve's and borrow some snowshoes ... lol!
Now, the burning question on my mind right now is...whatcha doin' with that dumpster and why the heck is it so close to your house? lol Also, now that you've decided to take the guineas with you to Oregon, will you be getting quail, too?
Ok Ok after Danni's remark and the fact that I've had a little, shall I say a little something to warm up my insides in the form of liquid refreshment, I am laughing and trying to figure a way to throw everyone off here a bit. Mary, if I do take them with me...they will be going through Tennessee to get to Alabama.... Leedra, Please don't make me picture them feasting from a dumpster!!! hahahah! Carolynn, these little buggars could con you out of your life savings just on their good looks alone... Jenny Wren, they are freezing their little feathers off!! Me too!! Hannibal...you haven’t a clue!! They are a hoot! Steve, I just laughed out loud reading this...snowshoes and goggles...I can see it now! Living near Lake Ontario where the gulls will steel your hotdog right out of your bun while at the beach...they've been called much worse names than dumpster chickens...but at least my guineas didn't actually dive in!!! Tina, if we get at least five acres on a dead end road...they can come with us...don't hold your breath!... Sharon, Guineas are supposed to be great for eating ticks and bugs in your garden. I got them for the tick eating hoping it would help us out. Now that we're moving to Alabama, I'm wondering if they will eat cottonmouth snakes and chiggers...I don't even know if I've spelled that right!.... Danni!!! You are crazy....Ok now I've decided to move to Oregon...or you can expect a shipment of guinea fowl any day now...they are used to great quantities of snow and will teach your chickens a few things about flying. No ramps required!!!! And I'll have you know that dumpster was strategically placed next to the house for maximum chuck value!!!!... Mary, I would recommend them to anyone who needs a good laugh!!! Roy.....where are you???? hahahaha!!! This was fun...see you all tomorrow!
My brain was working full speed trying to come up with something about not knowing Guineas were a diving species until I read your comment that they didn't actually become dumpster divers. Shucks!
Eve - please bring them with you when you move! :) I love all the entertaining things they do. By the way - I love the header of them walking in the snow!

LOL! You really need to take them to Tennessee with you. What characters they seem to be :-)
They look like they will be able to adjust quite well to the move to Alabama. They can eat and roost anywhere.
I think they're gorgeous. And apparently, excellent bargain hunters, as well.
How's the move coming along?
Another great header Evie. Strolling out in the snow together. Sweet!
Your Guinea foragers are looking a little chilly all hunched up like that.
Very funny! They make for great entertainment obviously!
LOL, dumpster chickens? I've heard of starlings being referred to a roaches and pigeons as air rats, but never heard of dumpster chickens.

A most entertaining post and series of comments.
Mary, don't worry we're going to be so close to Tennessee, we may be living right on the border!!
