The Time Has Come!

I have been dreaming of this day for some time now. Yes, school begins tomorrow! It has been a long time since I've been able to hop upon my "other sweet ride" and just enjoy the country roads. It's been a wonderful summer with Morgan on our outings, but it's time for all smart kids to get back to work! But first I must get back to reality and remember that before I just let lose and ride away I must:
Feed the dogs
feed the birds
water the flowers
fill the fountain
make the bed
do the dishes
do the laundry
vacuum
get the groceries
mow the lawn
wash the motorcycle....
Reality can be a tough pill to swallow!!

I feel your pain, honey. Getcher work done then hit the road, and be extra careful on all those sharp mountain curves! Today Kayla heads for school as well and is really looking forward to it. Have fun, Morgan!

Your daughter goes back to school today? They start early. My girls start on the 31st. I wish Morgan well in her new school!

You're more disiplined than me. After a whole summer of go, go, go with the girls I usually like to take that first day and let it all go! Enjoy your ride Eve!

Dont forget to add 'looking at your favourite blogs' Evie! (-:

Have fun burning a bit of rubber! Do you ever take passengers? Just wondering.....
Have fun back a school Morgan!

School doesn't start here until September. Enjoy your freedom! Feed the critters and then take off. That other stuff can will be there when you get back.

Thank for all the comments! I had a nice ride...stayed on familiar roads for now...but one. I knew where it would lead but hadn't been on it and it was cool. It was a truly southern road. No shoulder and swampy trees right to the edge. Well, it seemed that way, I'll have to get back and take a picture!
No Jenny, no passangers on this bike!
And NO Tina, I'm not going to paint the house blue!

But ahhhh...the peace of washing the motorcycle. I used to wash mine all the time...that is until I had to sell it to buy a new washer and dryer...I still hurt a little inside ;)

Oh, I remember the days of the wind in my face. I used to ride my teenage son on the back. Actually he was the main reason I sold my Harley. He was getting too close to the age of 16, and the thought scared me. He then grew up and bought one very similiar to yours. He now has a child of his own, and no motorcycle. Think of me when you ride!
