Beautiful! I wish I had a tad of your artistic ability. The color of that flower (lilac?) is spectacular!
Hi Julie! That is the flowers of a (Buddleia) Butterfly Bush! Those flowers are very tiny...so you can imagine how tiny that little fellow is!
I'd like to just wrap myself up in that purple.
Eve, I almost bought and planted a buttefly bush..now I wish I had..such a gorgeous looking color...now for the bug..not sure about him!
Hi Eve, what kind of insect or spider was it? It kind of looks like the backend of a crab spider. :)
Me too Lynne, especially if it was full of something sweet!!Yes Tina, get a Butterfly Bush, try dutchgardens.com my favorite place to get plants. Well Daniel, after taking the picture I moved on but you know I almost think it's a weevil? I'll look again today.
Hmmmm, bust be something good in there.
He's certainly getting stuck in there! So would I if I got the chance. I love the smell of buddleias, very honey like, but fresher somehow.
Beautiful flower - I can see why the bug was intrigued? (What is that bug by the way?) Maybe the flower is eating him....Gorgeous photo Eve!!!
Very cool macro! And whatever it is, busy as it is, it has a cute little...uhhh...butt! For a bug.For some reason the bug brings to mind the yard sign cut out ladies bending over in the garden that were hugely popular for awhile.
Very cute...might be a beetle.
I am loving these closeup photos
Just a tad bit occupied!
That's an interesting little insect and a great close-up. I know he's eating but he also looks as though he could be staring at something.
Eve, The detail and color in this photo is just amazing. BRAVO!
That is a great shot!
Brilliant coloring!
Stunning macro shot! I love the colors. Great work and thanks for sharing..
