I had to shovel a walk for Morgan to get to the bus yesterday, there was another 6 inches drifted up to a foot in the driveway. Daisy Lu just said goodbye from the porch. That little back dot out there is Morgan!! The Plow Man came at about 10:30 so we got out for a little bit. Took my mom home and Julie when to the Primitive Shop not far from my home.
I took my camera, and a little cash!I love this old phone booth in the corner of the shop. Julie found this print and the wooden spoons, and I got the beautiful runner for my table.
I just love the yellow, red and green plaid.Julie will be on her way home tomorrow (sad face here). Hopefully the Lake Effect snow will stop for at least one day so she wont have to endure that mess!!!
Now she understands why I don't travel from November to March!!!
We got another 4 inches last night and it's far from over.

I love the top photo. so cute
Yikes! Enough with the white stuff already, hmmm? Little Daisy Lu looks like she's just itchin' to get off that porch.
We have a store very similar to this one near where I live. I love roaming around in it. As much as I love the things they have, it doesn't really fit into my home, so I rarely take more than just a little decorative something home with me.
I really like the runner pattern. Those are beautiful colours!
This week with Julie seems to have gone way too quick! Glad you got out for some primitive shopping. If you've shown Julie all the cute guinea blogs you've done, then she must be finding them hard to resist!
PS: Do you know what the tracks are on your new header? I'm curious! (-:
Thanks Kerry! I love that picture too!
Carolynn...it's still coming down hard and fast today. I'm not a very sunny side up today!!
Thanks Jenny...it is going way too fast..she's leaving tomorrow and we were snowed in today! She's been following the blog since day one but after Buddy jumped on her back today while she was collecting feathers...hahahah...I'm not sure if she'll take them home with her!!
That is a little mouse print on my porch...most likely a white-footed mouse, we have a lot of them...so cute.
Evie, is that a miniature milk churn?
I do hope your snow ends soon it must be a real pain.
Hi Roy, I believe that is a mini milk churn! I have a nice old one here at home but it has a lid on it. I'll have to take a picture of it soon.
I hope it stops soon...it's still going strong.
These photos are beautiful and the one of daisy looking out from the porch...smart dog!
Poor Morgan having to go out in that! Lucky Daisy Lu who doesn't have to. I'm so sorry you are in for more snow. I've only had a few days of it and am sick of it already. Love all those shop finds! I need to get out and go antique shop looking just for the entertainment value. I love looking at the stuff, but hate to buy more. I like that header!
Those spoons just scream "Aunt Julie!" to me!
I love the table runner too.
It's funny that I enjoy these things now. When I was younger I thought they were so old and ugly.
Hope you're having fun in the snow, poor Morgan! I saw Gracie a while back and she was all "Do you remember Morgan from your wedding?"
Jeesh, it's like you're living in the tundra! lol! Glad your daughter made it off to school okay.
Sounds like a nice shopping day with some great treasures to bring home. So sorry to hear your company is leaving. The two of you must have had a wonderful time.
