This Weekend...

Buddy just couldn't stand being all cooped up so on Sunday he and he alone decided to come looking for Morgan. He flew all the way from the coop to the house and started calling.Morgan was finishing up her chores, so I went out and gave him an arm to the picnic table. Ole would have liked to have given him a mouth to the table but I said NO!
Yeah, you keep a good eye on him Buddy!Morgan finally got out and they visited for a bit then she gave him a piggy back ride to the coop. I really think he just loves all the fun they have together. On Sunday the snow started up again and no one came out but they had visitors.Ole is always trying to lend a mouth!! You be good you naughty boy!
We're hoping for a little sun today but it's still snowing out there this morning.

I love your posts about the guineas. It's nice to know that they have personalities. The pictures of Morgan with Buddy are priceless. They are such gorgeous birds. I wonder if I'm drawn to them because of their featherless heads- like turkeys and turkey vultures 9two of my favorite birds).

How sweet that Buddy loves Morgan so much! He must be the most intelligent one of the bunch! Love that last shot of Ole - he is on handsome boy!!

Who's that little white fellow? You have the cutest group of critters there. What a delight it is to come and visit with them all for a while...at least the ones who are brave enough to come out in the snow.

BTW, I have a little something for you to pick up at my place.

Unbelievable, who knew guineas loved piggyback rides? My guinea education grows...

I believe that is a "guinea back ride"....no piggies :-) They do seem to be such friends. He probably came to tell you to get rid of all this snow...NOW....or in hopes of being invited in the house since he was brave enough to come and find you!

I just love the Morgan piggy back photos. Sooooo sweet! My hope is that you find a place big enough in Alabama that the Guineas can go with you!
