It got really cold the night before I took photos of my trail and the Red-bellied Woodpecker and I noticed the water in the bird bath had froze. I saw a Nuthatch was looking for a drink of water, so I ran in to get some to top off the solid mass of ice and leaves. As soon as I went in the house I saw a flurry of wings out the window. Guess who?
I'm so glad I got my Bluebird house set up this year.
What a super treat!

Very cool! With the ice and snow we've had for the past week our feeders are mobbed every day.
Along with the header this is beautiful Evie, great set of buddies obviously.
Are they always as agreeable to each other.
Thanks for stoppin Rocket Man! Keep the feeders full!
Thanks Roy. They are very agreeable birds...they stick together like...birds of a feather! hahaha!
Great photo!!!
Amazing shot Eve! It makes the perfect header too!
I recently had a similar experience. i looked out the kitchen window to see the birdbath filled with blue birds! What a thrill! Your photo is great. You can see the expressions on those little birds' faces.
Ha!!!!! Thar she blows! LOVE your new header, as you know. Geez, I've missed blogging and all my blogging buddies. Methinks maybe it's time to come back up for air, eh? Love this! AMAZING!
Thanks Chris! Ride Safe!!
Thanks Mike!
Thanks Deb! I think they were just so happy to have a drink!
Hey Debi!! Come on back to us!!
Hey you all might notice there is an extra Bluebird on the rim of this photo...There was probably a total of 7 or 8!
So cute and sweet
Super header Eve.
Great to see the chorus line all set up and waiting for the conductor. FAB.
What a great photo. I don't get bluebirds but I see them often at my mother's house in the country. I forgot to hook up my bird bath defroster and just realized it this morning when I saw the birds looking for water and finding ice instead.
Stunning photo!! Bluebirds are a hard to spot here in Plymouth - at least in our back yard ;)
I just love the bluebird photos. I don't seem to have any here at the house, but there have been wrens all over the yard. So much fun to watch!
They're so cute. I noticed them in your header on my last visit. Nice capture! Each one is picture perfect. Cute little expressions on they're faces.
Good Morning Evis! Another Bluebird treat to look at this morning-sweeet tweets.
Awww, look at those sweet little faces! :-)
I guess that move to 'bama was worth it!
That'a a very cool photo! I would love to have all those bluebirds visit me.
