Warning....

Oh I forgot to post this most horrible photo of all...this was yesterdays weather.
...the photos you are about to see are horrible. But they are what they are and I know my bestest buddies won't mind cause, well, they just wont!!It came. More snow. The whole world has come to a stand still here in northern Alabama.

Schools closed, roads closed...feeders open.

If you noticed the birds had emptied this feeder above so I had to trudge out and fill er up.I just love this White-breasted Nuthatch heading for the pail feeder. This orange-scarfed snow creeper is having fun with a nut or something.Much later in the afternoon the Bluebirds showed up and were spying sunflower seeds!

It was very dark and I was shooting through a window but there they are.If only this was not blurred. It would be such a cute picture!

They not horrible, they are beautiful, even the little bird at the end is like a watercolor. More snow? We're supposed to get some too tonight but not on such a grand scale as our last one two weeks' ago. Stay warm!

Hey Evie, great "naked eye" shots of the Nuthatch. Its like I was there looking at them out of your window. That is a very rare species the "Orange-Scarfed Snow Creeper".

Those Bluebirds are like Jewels in a drab landscape. Glad they hang around there for winter Evie. That orange scarfed snow creeper is a bit of a gem too! (-:

You're pictures aren't horrible, silly :) I love them! When I first started reading I thought you meant that you took pictures of something horrible, like an animal eating another, I was a little scared to look LOL.
And that Orange-scarfed Snow Creeper, super cute ;)

Hey Sunny Side Up Eve all your birdie pictures are fun to look at. The orange-scarfed snow creeper is a particularly wonderful find! Well maybe not all your pictures are fun, that horrible photo of yesterdays weather is a freaky nightmare!! Our high today is suppose to be 5!! Five Eve, 5 Degrees for the high to-DAY!

All that white stuff sure is pretty when you can watch it coming down from a warm, cozy spot somewhere. Love the birds and that orange scarfed snow creeper - excellent catch of this rare bird.

Aren't Bluebirds like ornaments in the bare winter trees? Just beautiful!
