Wow, this winter was just like the ones I remember when I was a kid in Vermont. It just came in and didn't let up until mud season. Then is snowed again! Once when I was in high school, we got a foot in May.
The one bright spot about getting snow this time of year is that it doesn't last long. I remember back in 1982 we had 2 feet of snow on April 7th but in about a week it was all melted. It's still discouraging to see it though.

The trouble is the south is also having a long winter. But it will be much better than where you are now.

Maybe this last snow is to help you not miss the old place...or at least the climate....as you head south! Good luck on the move Friday!
