Eve, great tidbits..love looking at the macro of nature..so often I over look the details opting for the big picture. Love the gourd! I sure hope Gimpy is doing better today.
Thanks Lynne and Tina, Gimpy went out this morning again with the gang. She is so funny because she isn't real interested in eating until I poke her food with my finger....I guess she doesn't like to eat alone! So each evening we have our little quality time together with her evening meal. Her back doesn't look great, but she seems to be getting better each day.
Yes those are spring shoots!!! Well Steve we've had Martins fly over and I got a good deal on a Martin house last summer. I'm going to take it with me when I go south. If I can't use it there I'll sell it but I hope to live near some water...we'll see.

Thanks Shelley...that was used last year by my house wren. Not sure if it was a nest box or just one of his boxes full of sticks...silly bird!
