I have no idea where Grant is, but I'm guessing it is up north of B'ham, since you said you are on a mountain? I love the mountains here in the area, they truly are beautiful. I was raised in ATL, but really love living here now. It's a great place to be & I'm sure the gardening will be totally different than NY, you will definitely have a longer growing season. Get used to some HOT weather!
