Thursday my daughter, Morgan, and I were outside on the front porch, relaxing after working in the yard. She, being 10, was a bit bored and said "what should I do now?". She had her little note paper and pens out so I suggested that she draw something.
This was her inspiration...

Great job, Morgan! Those are beautiful and you really captured what you saw. Beautiful flowers in your garden, Eve!
That is excellent Morgan! Love the cactus in the middle and the bug!
Eve, my server is acting up again, so not able to e-mail at the mo. Will try again tonight.....

This is wonderful...what a beautiful drawing. Those are the kind that make your heart swell, aren't they, Eve? :-)
Wow, that's amazing. I think she has a ton of talent. (though what else would you expect with such a talented mom, right?)
Morgan has a lot of talent. Her art is beautiful. Way to go!
Hey Morgan, I think you're on to something! Keep it up! Eve, enjoy every moment with her - she's halfway out the door!
Bravo Morgan.
Eve you really need to nurture this talent. Its special and you can see a certain style emerging there.
Thanks all! Morgan is delighted with her uplifting comments! She has always loved to draw little bitty works of art. My mom tells me she has some spectacular guinea drawings I have yet to see...I'm sure there will be more to post!

Loved Morgan's interpretation of the flower border. I'd rather l;ook at something like this piece than sopme of the tosh you see in most galleries these days!
My next post will be soon...promise....but working myself up to a job interview!
