Wow super-slow internet today...I'm having flashbacks of my dial-up days!!! Not a good thing for me!!
So Morgan and I went to our local beach which is quite nice and somewhat unknown. It's free, and had a lifeguard and the locals are feathered and friendly...

Number 5, with the in focus diver and the blurred background, is super stunning!
Thanks Helen,
I blurred out the background with Photoshop...it was way too distracting..there are a couple people standing there, actually 3! Thanks!!!
Very nice photos, looks like a nice place to visit, reminds me of a lot of places here in Maine. I guess you didn't have success uploading your video yesterday, I kept looking for it?
Thanks John,
No I was not successful...I tried for HOURS yesterday (actually been trying for about a week)!! I think it's mostly because the files are too big. I'd hate to put a low Res video on so don't know...I'll have to do more research on it. Have a great day!
Oh, cool! Love the dive bomb technique! Great photos of it on the way down and in! How long was the video? It takes an incredibly long time for Blogger to load them and I've given up sometimes.
Hey Mary! Thanks! The last video I tried was not all that long but 103MB. I may try loading them on Youtube and go that way. Still don't know if that is just too big...I'll have to shorten my attempts on camera. I'll keep trying when the frustration wears off!!!
Hey Eve
Love the action photos of the Caspian and it's lovely to see Chaumont beach in the flesh so to speak rather than GE'd. (-:

Hey Eve
Lovely shots of the Tern diving. I must take my camera/lenses out to practice that sort of thing. The sheep in my last post were cute weren't they - it was the curious cows I was more concered about!
Adrian
Great shots of the Tern, Eve.
I like the spread out tail feathers.
Dial up, don't remind me!
Hi Jenny! I should of actually taken pictures of the BEACH!!! hahaha!! Next time!
Hi Adrian,
Get in lots of practice...these were acutally quite lucky since I didn't really adjust anything on the camera before I took them...just grabbed and took the shots!!
Thanks Roy! I noticed those tail feathers too! If you get a chance look at that first tern shot full screen...check out those "finger" feathers! Reminds me of a dinosaur, you?!!!
Great photos, the diving bird ones were awesome. The splash in the water, perfect!
