Still digging....

One more day of digging and tomorrow the plants should be here! Yesterday I saw a Clearwing moth at my apple trees. I'm hoping to get a picture of it today. There are just so many beautiful things to see when we take the time to look.
More of my friend's beautiful tulip color combos...Thanks Dick and Marion for letting me steal your flowers!!

Eve, go ahead and look - the bluebirds will likely fuss at you a bit, but will go right back when you leave. Actually the Bluebird Society recommends that you monitor your box, to be sure all is well. They would welcome your input at the end of the season too, if you make a record.

The purple tulip, what a super colour.

Birdlady!!! I looked!! I saw one baby facing me and a pile of others!!! How exciting...I will check again when the light comes around and get a count. I'll record them for the Bluebird Society!!
Thanks for the encouragement! I added you to my list of favorites!

Purple is my favorite color. Looks great here. It is simple but the beauty is undiscribable

Purple and yellow go so well together, you can't go wrong when you have that combo.
I'm looking forward to seeing your completed garden.

More great Tulips. The composition and limited depth-of field make this an impressive image that really pops.
