A lot going on....

Well, today is the day for plants. It's been many hours of work but hopefully I will be very pleased in the years to come. This side was and is my biggest challenge with the rocks under the sod. We tried delicately to turn it over with the tiller but to no avail. We went through our last shear pin and of course they are sold out at Sears. This side wasn't so bad and is ready to go.
Even tho I'm very busy there is always time to do a little birding! This tree swallow is happy to pose as long as I don't get too close to his box.

Hey Busy Girl,

Its all going to look great when you have finished and we see the results of the flowers out in bloom. Glad to see that you are keeping the camera handy though.
The Swallow looks impressed.

The tree swallow looks so cute. I've never seen any with blue feathers here.

I noticed a tree swallow on the phone wire in front of the house yesterday so maybe they will nest in the birdhouse I have. The chickadees decided not to use it.

Hello Eve.. You worked your tail off girl.. I can invision it already....How did you keep the puppies out??

Eve said...

Hi Stacey!
The plants are "out for delivery" right now!! I'm pretty excited.
Keeping the pups out will be fun but how I've done it in the past...
I use 1"x1"x3' stakes for fencing and just wrap grapevine that I gather from the property for railing. They wont cross it and then when they figured it out I can take it down! Daisy Lu did however jump in to help a few times!
Talk to you soon!

Wow--I can't believe how much progress you've made since your first 'digging' post. I'm super impressed. You must have arms of steel and a mental resolve to match!

Finished pictures will be on the way!
