The first part of this post will be dedicated to the Best Groomer Ever...Brandi....that is my best friend's daughter-in-law and her next door neighbor. Now you don't have to take my word for it...just ask these two...Farm life can get a little busy and Petunia had been working hard as a cow hand and it was time to get her spruced up. So "umpa" grabbed his granddaughter and off we strolled to the friendly neighborhood Groomer. Come on dogs! The brand new beauitful shop...I think it matches the Coop de Palace nicely don't you!Come on Bear...you can watch!Oh the beautiful view back to the farm!Such nice new furnishings. No time to rest Petunia! The new look...perfect!Shortly after "Tunie" got her wash Debby got out the hog for some photos. The next morning we spent more time with the gang and said our goodbyes!
No tears...until next time!Morgan and I drove to Syracuse and hopped the plane. This is the view of Interstate 81 looking at Oneida Lake and the way back to Watertown. We headed west toward Chicago and here you can see the east coast of Lake Michigan.Heading round to Chicago. After a little wait in Chicago we took off for Huntsville.
Chicago skyline.Watching the setting sun.Just before landing in Huntsville. We had a great trip and can't wait to visit again!
Thanks to everyone who made our trip such a special one.
And BKRCHC...you are my bud!!!

Debbie's farm is so beautiful and tranquil, I can see the cows heading for home now. Man alive do I wish I lived closer to Brandi, I would have Winslow Homer in her shop is a New York minute! Beautiful photos from the plane Miss Eve, however, next time you board a plane you are heading North to Maine and bringing Jenny and Pix with you!!!I do have tents and sleeping bags and no poisonous snakes or insects, just chickens! Oh and Morgan too!!!!
Very nice pics Eve! All of the dog shots are really great - I really like the first one!
Sounds like a trip to Maine is in order, Eve!
Glad you and Morgan had such a great time! What a wonderful groomers shop! Tunie is beautiful.
Great flight shots. You can't beat the view from an airplane though I'm terrified of flying. LOL!

Thank you bud for the beautiful pictures!! Sometimes you just don't realize how wonderful your life is till you see it through someone else's eyes. Enjoyed every minute you were here. You'll always be my friend-you know too much!! HaHa
Hope we can get together every year. Maybe we could go cross country on our Harleys!!
Sigh. Eve such a nice sweet fun beautiful trip! I enjoyed your trip back home. ALL the pictures are great but I have this thing about silos and that picture just gives me a peaceful feeling. Ooooo! I love that strong suggestion Julie is puttin down about coming to see her :) I'm on board! Gotta tell you though I'd rather drive cause flying isn't my favorite mode of transportation. Besides I'd miss all that beautiful countryside :)
We just had one heck of a storm roll through Evis, it looks to be heading your way but it may run out of wind! I almost, almost took the animal crackers and Suds Bunny to the basement :) But I was fascinated with a Mama Robin riding out 60 mph winds on her nest with the Mr. underneath lookin up with a whole lot of nervous going on. Right out the back porch window.
Enjoy your Sunny Side Up Sunday Evis!
I'm so glad you all liked the visit posts, and Deb, ME TOO!! Pix..we need the rain but not the wind! Give Suds a hug and have an animal cracker for me too! ;-Q
Fabulous end post to your trip Evie. I'm glad you had such a grand time with best buds and family and doggies. Well, it looks like I need about 6 months over in the US of A to get around to seeing EVERYONE I want to! Sigh....
One step at a time will have to do....
what a wonderful trip. I love the dog grooming shots. A nice slice of life
