Tree Swallow
A mother’s job is
Never done,
She works so hard
Each day.
Her babies chirp
For hours on end,
So mom will bring food
Their way.
One at a time
They eat their fill,
All she must satisfy.
And by the time the last one’s
Chirping is done,
The first one begins
A mother’s job is
Never done,
She works so hard
Each day.
Her babies chirp
For hours on end,
So mom will bring food
Their way.
One at a time
They eat their fill,
All she must satisfy.
And by the time the last one’s
Chirping is done,
The first one begins
To cry!!

How perfect is that?!!!
Wow, can't believe the tree swallows are still nesting there, they're long done around here.
Thank you Helen!!
Oh John! I forgot to mention this picture was taken a couple years ago!! Most likely in June or early July!
Love the photo and the poem is perfect! Reminds me of the old saying: "A man works from sun to sun, but a woman's work is never done."
Lovely capture eve! Wow that mum is definitely making sure that food gets down OK! (-:
