grass trying to grow in the little bit of sun that shines this time of year. Oh and although I didn't get a picture, white can also be found in a deer tail that is caught off guard by a fat dog and his fast little friend!!!

Hi Eve, when I'm out photographing I always have my tripod and monopod with me, even in my kayak. The image of the Hummingbird Moth was taken using my monopod. The monopod is more popular with sports photographers, but I find it handy in tight spots. Even with IS lenses, nothing beats a good solid support. Hope this helps. Mike
