Hey! How fun....thank you! (I'm assuming the "Farm girl" you were referring to was me???) Great shots...are those birds ALL at your house? You definitely need to get some real chickens (and ducks again)... :-)
Ha! Yes Danni the rooster was for you...or your girls...since I know you don't want them to have one of their own! These are all at my house. I took the shots of the rooster and the robin today. It was windy most of the day but now that the sun is about to go down it is WARM and BEAUTIFUL!!! Too bad it's supposed to rain tomorrow. But the weekend looks great! Got to get our gutters!
Hi Mel! Thanks for visiting!! I'll come visit you today too. I don't know much about the birds in Peru but I think one of the first things you should do (if you haven't already) is get a book for birds in your region, a good pair of binoculars, and a bird feeder. On of the most fun things to do also is learn the bird songs and calls! This takes time for the birds not most familiar to you but once you learn them you will know what birds are around you without always seeing them. You picked a really fun hobby and Keep a journal too. I write the birds I see and where I see them in a desk calander. Please stop and ask any questions you have anytime. I cant wait to see your birds as you post them. Good luck and have fun!!!

I'm glad you liked the tulip photos I posted today. I can tell you used the foil fill technique on the latest photos you posted, two thumbs up.
