Pears, Apples, Candytuft and Daisy...

Yesterday turned out to be a very pretty day, but there was a chill in the air that had been missing for the past two weeks. I, personally, didn't miss it but nonetheless it was missing. I've had this Cleveland Pear for about 6 years and it had a rough go for many of those years. This is the most beautiful bloom it's ever had! Now with a good chance of a hard frost this evening I decided to get some nice pictures in case these lovely flowers don't make it through the night. I have two Liberty Apple trees that are in their second season here. I only had one blossom on one of the trees last year. This year they are both full with buds!!
I bought some Candytuft and Phlox for my gardens this year.
And of course there is always a Daisy running around the garden!!!
Please note the summer cut!!

Loved that first photo of the pear blossoms. While you were enjoying the sun yesterday we were having a torrential downpour, a lot of areas are flooded today. Is your dog shivering this morning with the new cut?

Beautiful images of the trees, I would love to have an orchard. (Maybe when we get moved) Great angle on the flowers, and o-my you really can see the jack when she is in her summer duds.. (grin) thanks Eve, hope you didn't loose you pretty blooms to the frost..

You guys usually get our weather one day later! We had that downpour too! My pond was filled to the brim!
Yes Daisy was shivering a bit this morning!!! ;-)

Your flower pix are so pretty- we're still quite a bit behind you. Daisy's new "do" is sweet!

I agree with John on your pear blossoms, but I especially like the way you isolated the apple blossoms against the solid green background.
