Holding on to Winter

I'm looking forward to the warmer temps that are on the way.
I wonder if my hostas will pop up out of the pots in the spring.
Time will tell as the chimes continue to sing.

I like this photo, Eve. The wind chimes give it a feeling of winter looking forward to spring! Hope this weekend is warmer for you.

The Hostas will arrive..., and the warm weather. Winter seems long but nature doesn't stay the same forever.
Enjoy the moment, it will never be here again.
Go sit in a sunny window, my dear.

The sunshine makes it look like a spring day. Only 2 more months! :)

You and me both Evie! I too am wondering what will have survived in my pots after this very cold and sustained weather we've been having. That's half the fun in spring....looking for those first green shoots...can't wait! (-:

So cozy. Windchimes are some of my favorite garden toys. Love the star and color of your house, too. I'm positive the hostas will LOVE their new digs!

Hi Eve,
Nice photo and very pretty scene. The warm light on the chimes seem to foretell the coming of spring, but the white stuff on the ground reminds me that we still have a little winter left.

Hey Evie, doesn't the noise of the chimes get to you after a while.
Its Friday and it is raining hard here now, washing the snow away hopefully.

Your yard looks beautiful even in the dead of winter. But I can understand the longing for warmth and growth. Our landscape currently consists of mud, ice, and muddy ice.
