Shopping Amish Style

I couldn't resist stopping to capture this horse and buggy parked at Lowe's.I took one shot and this fellow, dressed in red, looked at me, tipped his head to say hello,
and went back to being a patient servant.

How neat to see! Especially him tipping his cute head to you! I've always been fascinated by the Amish.

LOL too funny. I wonder what they were getting.??If that was my horse he would have been chewing on the car hood in front of him ( just kidding) Have a great day.

LOL! That's very funny! Are they hard to parallel park, I wonder? You would think that the other cars would spook the horse. I'd be afraid to park next to it.

Thanks girls!

Mary...I've seen some buggy, car brush ups!! I keep my car at a distance!!!

Barb...Yes thank you I saw what you wrote, Thank you. I also looked up their feeding habits...as you said they can digest bayberry, and wax myrtle, and also juniper and posion ivy, and "others"! Good stuff to know!!

How interesting!!
That would be so unusual to me, I would then spend the next 30 minutes wandering the aisles of Lowe's looking for that wagon's owner! :-)

I love the way he's parked up neatly in a bay! (-: Brings back memories of a visit to the Amana colonies in Iowa. Facinating! What is Lowes, a department store? Just curious.

What a mixture of times, values and technology! This is a freeze frame picture for sure...I hope his owner wasn't buying too big a purchase! What discipline tho.. to be parked in a slot with other vehicles moving around him! Definitely a cool pic, Eve.

Finally got my Bird program reloaded that has sounds! What a really funny sounding bird that Clay colored Sparrow is! I guess he thinks he's a bee :-) Mike says it sounds like a short in an electrical system. I'll certainly remember that one if I ever hear it!

Danni...I can just see you now...actually, the driver was coming out of Lowes and I felt intrusive so I took off like a bandit!!

Jenny...Lowes is a huge Home Improvement store that sells everything you need to build and fill a home! Oh and garden too! HUGE!

Tina...our town isnt so big...not a lot of cars were driving around this fellow, but I'm sure it get a bit scary out on the roads.

Roy...I would say so!!

Mary...I'm so glad you were able to hear the Clay-colored!! The first time I heard that buzzing I thought it was a bug, then saw a sparrow type bird fly out. I searched and searched for the sparrow songs and finally found it. My bird club had a fit because that is a rare bird for the area. They have been here 7 summers now but seem to be pushing back and thinning out a bit. Not hearing them all day and into the night like I used to. I had one that sounded like he had low batteries!!! What fun!!!

Looks like he wants some attention! He kind of matches the building in that red blanket.

Hard to see around those blinders he has on. He was trying to see what you were up to.Specially if you were on that motorcycle of yours.
