It's just me, but I love the natural one (picture) at the top. Why mess with the beauty that nature gives it? I can't believe your peonies are blooming already. Mine are just big balls at the ends of really long stems.
Oh my gosh, you must be SO excited. The keets arrive TOMORROW! I wish I could be there to see!!! Yay, Eve!!!!

Thanks Shelley!

Danni it's not just you!!! My best friend and my hubby both dont care for the Photoshop art. I think it's a 50/50 split on thoses that dont and that do! I'm used to the critiques and love to have both on hand for cards etc. Well it wont be too long before yours bloom and I will love to see them too. Today is only in the 50's here and it wont warm up until the weekend! I'll be waiting to hear about the keets and when they will arrive!!! I'll let you know!

Thank you Lynne! I'm still excited about your new property and your future home!!

Hey Suzuki Pilot,

I like both the photo and the photoshop version. It is two different disciplines and both are interesting in their own way. Photos are always good just to reproduce the image that you see. Photoshop versions are good pointers to create watercolour paintings which I dabble in. Very artistic, thanks Eve.

Thanks Roy!!
Photoshop not only has many filters to choose from but you can adjust each filter to your liking. As you know it's not just a one click event. This makes the work unique in its own right and personal! I've noticed too that some pictures just don't work at all in "art"! The only drawback on working in Photoshop is you get addicted!!!
Have a great rest of your day!

With or without the Photoshop effect, it's a very nice photo. Sometimes it's just fun to play around like that to see what you come up with.

Beautiful and artsy Eve.. this is gorgeous.. I am going to have to break down and get photoshop.. what version do you use?

Stacey I have CS2 but any of the newer ones have a lot of nice filters. Another filter that I have that was a plug in for Photoshop is a Redfield filter that has Fractalius. There are so many out there you could go crazy looking!
