Monday evening we were hard at work figuring out how to put together a new brooder for the babies. Their little plastic tote...while good for tiny keets was just not big enough for them to run and jump. Their wing feathers are already coming in and they sure do like to test their pilot skills! You can see one little feather on this little guy but believe me they are already loading up in the feather department.
And of course little Miss Daisy Lu is being as good as she can be, not getting too close, but secretly wishing one would fly out and accidentally land in her mouth!! Soon the tables will be turned because as the saying goes...
"Guineas Rule!!"

Oh I hope those guineas eat every tick around! Go guineas!
Hmmm... tick eating machines.
What a FABULOUS idea!
And cute to boot!
They are so cute! Can't wait to see them running around. Daisy Lu is going to have a lot of fun chasing them :-) She looks as good as gold here keeping guard over them.
Hee, hee...boy, do I recognize Daisy Lu's stance. She and Roxy would totally "rule the roost" if they ever got together. I bet the cheeping and chirping is driving her wild, eh? What a good girl!!!
Yes you guys...they are so cute...already eating ticks courtesy of the "tick bus" Daisy Lu....and it will be fun to see them running around the yard...guess I better figure out how to use the video on Blogger!!
I love your doggy's "intent" gaze at them! Can't wait to see what they look like when they are all grown up!
When do you plan on putting them outside in their new coop?
