GORGEOUS, i love fall colors!! we've got wet leaves in NorCal making the roads slightly slimy... Are your falling leaves still dry enough to ride? Enjoy this fabulous season Eve!

Thanks Kerry!!

Hi Bunnits...it was a beautiful morning to get out there!

Hi MQ! Our roads have been very very dry for months. We went for a beautiful ride yesterday and the only problem I had were steep hairpins and a very bright sun in my eyes!! hahaha! Google map Blowing Cave Road, Gurley, Alabama! That was some fun ride!

The colors of autumn are so heartwarming, aren't they? I just love it! And I love your header photo too!

Is that a Bluebird on the post?

Thanks Roy! You inspired me to post!

Hi Farmlady! I did feel good and thanks!

Thanks Mike! It really is!

Hi Darlene! Me too and I know you have some of the best fall sights around!

Hi Sharon! Thanks! I didn't think the colors would come after that dry summer but they seem to be showing up now!
Yes that is a sweet bluebird! They are everywhere down here! I just love them!

AH, thanks for the walk, babe. I feel much more refreshed - ha! Your header is fabulous! What kind of berries have you found among your acreage? Chat soon!

Eve said...

Thanks Debi! I don't know what kind of berries those are...they are down the road on a fence row. We'll have to figure it out!

Wow...so pretty! I was looking at your weather on your sidebar and I'm so envious!! 70 degrees ...sigh.
We are trapped in a cloud here in our "mountain cabin"...it's wet and chilly and foggy everywhere I look.
Pretty pic of the horse next to the pond. I love his reflection in the water.

Eve said...

Hi Danni! Well it's been so dry here that there is no fog or clouds at all. But rain is coming.
I thought of you when I took the picture of the DONKEY/MULE...I'm really not sure which it is. That's one of the fellows that is just up the road that was in a previous post of mine. You can just barley see him standing there in the photo is you make it big. He's hiding and I only saw him from the reflection.

Danni said...

How funny - I couldn't tell if it was a horse or a donkey, so I just guessed. :-)
I, too, first saw the reflection and had to go back and try to find him in the shadows!

Love the first shot. It brings back the happy memories of our visit and ride earlier this year.

I grew up on 163 acre farm and now live in the city. I sure miss the country. I love you photos. If you don't mind I am going to download one or two for my digital picture frame in my office.

Hi Oz. We left 120 acres in NY but our 12 here is just really nice. Thanks for asking for the use of my photos. You may.

Beautiful! I love that last shot. Our fall is disappearing fast. The leaves are coming down like raindrops.....I'd rather have the raindrops!

Beautiful. I especially like the little bird perched on the top of the fencepost.
