Wow! fabulous shots Evie.
Thanks Roy! I was walking around looking for him and I turned and there he was!!! Not a bit afraid of me! A rare bird for me here so far. They winter in the south but sometimes, I'm told, they will not see any during the winter here.
What luck! I rarely see these, much less get to photograph them.
He's so cute! You get the best bird pics!!
Lucky you! He is a cutie pie and how very gracious of him to pose "just so" for you! Good job, babe!
So cute and sweet
Evis! You lucky stinker you!!! I can even see the feathers on his/her? little chinny chin chin and his teeny bird claws on his feeties! What a shot :) We have not seen any Red-Breasted but we have three White-Breasted zooming up and down the Old Man's Oak tree for black oil sunflower that we are leaving at the base of the tree. I do believe Nuthatches are my favorite birds. All that beep!Beepbeep!beep!beeping at each other just make me smile. They are so dang cute! And busy birdies too :) Glad you had your clickin' finger clickin'! Did ya call your Mom back after hangin' up on her?!My word verification...LOONS! I swear!!!
How lucky can you get?
Very nice shots Eve! I like the fall colors in the background too.
Lucky you! Great shots. Usually by the time I get the camera whatever was there has flown the coop.
Wonderful! A beautiful little bird. I'm glad you got these lovely photos of him.
And he posed perfectly just for you. FAB.
Wow! How exciting indeed! Great shots! And you're soo lucky to get such a model too!
I am really liking the new flower picture at the top of your blog. If only I could work out what I am looking at....!
Thanks all! Thanks Gary...that is a Gerber Daisy on my friend's deck. That's the railing in the back. I tweeked it with Photoshop until I liked what I saw.
I love those guys too, and rarely see them here! Great model moment! LOVE your header btw...
Oh! I like the new header photo. Really neat!
What fabulous shots Evie, I'm sure your Mom approved of the reason for her abruptly ended phone call! (-: They are beautiful birds. I wonder if that means it will be a tough winter further north than you this year?
