Unbelieveable

Last nights sunset. I have lived on this property for just over 20 years.
Most of my Blogger friends know that I have been blessed with some of the most beautiful sunrises and sets, but you can only imagine just how many and just how beautiful they have been.
I've lived here with this full blown sky, in this treeless yard, and have been able to witness so many wonders, from a spectacular Aurora Borealis that took up a 270 degree chunk of my sky and made it an undulating show of color and forms, to an A-10 "Warthog" flying slow and low in a display of strength and pride. I am not sad that I am leaving this beautiful place. I'm feeling blessed that I have been able to enjoy a piece of heaven for a good part of my life.
Now I'm ready to find a new place to explore. To find the joys that this new home will bestow upon me.
Two more days of packing ahead. We've had a little glitch with the new home in Alabama but with a bit of luck and a few prayers we will be moving in by the end of next week.

You are going to be in your new home before you know it and a new adventure awaits you. We have lived in this house now for 19 years, but I remember moving in as though it were yesterday. The moving van broke down askew across our cul-de-sac and prevented our neighbors from getting in and out of the road for hours and hours and hours. I have to smile at the memory now but there were quite a few who weren't too happy with our arrival at the time - lol. This is a spectacular sunrise Eve. Thank you for sharing it with us and thank you for all the good laughs you've given me here. Look forward to loads more at your new home. Cleome!!!!!!!

A spectacular sky! I hope the house glitch will clear up quickly and pray the moving goes well for you. I know with your sunny attitude, you will be enjoying your new "bit of heaven" and not pining over the old once you get there. It is always hard to leave a place we love, but exciting to find a new place of wonders, too. You take the sunshine with you in your soul.

Wow - moving day is almost here.
I so appreciate your attitude of loving the time you've had here in your old home, yet relishing the thought of new adventures to come. Safe travels...happy packing...and remember, Be Flexible. That was my hourly mantra a little over a year ago when we were moving. There will be many glitches yet to come, but I have no doubt you will survive them gracefully! :-)

Wow! What an awesome sight. Now, it is over a year later and you are in Alabama with trees to block your view of the open sky, but your garden, wildlife, and other nature photos are beautiful. Keep gifting us all with them.
