Road Trip...Life Move...

We loaded up the truck.Said our good-byes to the guineas. Grabbed the beasts. Enjoyed the views. That's my husband in our trailer ahead of me. It was fun for me to draft, and I saved a bunch of gas...but it didn't help him any so I backed off a bit!!Stayed a night...listened to Mockingbirds...laughed a bunch. Watched the temperature soar!!!!! (it's under my gas gauge).
DON'T LOOK AT THE DUST AND DOG HAIR!!!!! Got to Huntsville as saw a Saturn V Rocket!
We're still busy getting settled in. Tuesday we go see the house and hopefully will close on Friday.

HA! Your interior of your Subaru looks just like mine!! :) dust and dog hair (and the view is similar with the turbo scoop...except mines dark grey) :) Looks like you're having lots of fun on your adventure to your new home, thanks for keeping us posted!

Some how I bet this is a very condensed version of the actual trip! You covered a lot of miles! Glad you made it safely and look forward to seeing your new property and local wildlife as you discover it. I think we have a photo of that rocket somewhere.

Julie...Morgan had a great lesson in NASCAR science for sure. There were a few nearly bump drafting instances, but no paint was traded!!! The funny thing was for half the trip all I could see was a reflection of my little blue car on a gray background!

Tina, that Saturn Five is actually viewed from the back yard of the apartment we are in too!! I'm going to take pictures today.

Thanks Yvonne! I see so many beautiful flowering plants and I think of you!

Thanks Denise it was fun.

Hi Tammy! Gotta feel the love with the Subaru!

Shelley, I really need to do an extended trip post. I actually didn't get any photos the first leg of the journey. I had a headache that turned into a migrane the first day. Bummer!!

Thanks Mary! It was the short version. Most of the pictures I took on the second day are really not so great! Its hard doing 75 mph and taking pictures! Morgan got some along the way so we'll see how she did.

Howdy Evie, my car has that problem too. Cleaning the car out isn't my most favourite job in the world! (-: Great to see segments of your journey south. I'll be thinking of you tomorrow, imagining you wandering around the green house. Have fun and leave that migrane well behind you!!! (-:

I hope you'll enjoy your new home. I lived in the Huntsville area for many years and I loved it there!

Glad your safe.

Hi Eve,

Well, it looks like you're moving to a new place. Will your guiena's be okay with a new owner? I used to have them and enjoyed them, but I've cut down on the animal keeping, and just enjoy the wildlife now. Oh, yes, and I do have 2 dogs and 6 cats, too. Oscar was a special dog, but my other doggies are wonderful as well.

Thank you for visiting and the nice comment. Good luck in your new place, and I will be back to find out more. Now I want to check out your photography blog.

Hugs,

Renie

What an adventure! And I think pretty much ALL our cars looks like yours, if we've got dogs. lol
You must be loving those warmer temps...it's pretty toasty here right now, too. Looking forward to hearing what you think of your new house!

Hi Eve! Glad you made it safely. I love your pics from your travels. Enjoy the warm temps! It is cold and rainy here. Send us some warm weather. We filled our bird feeders recently and I thought of you as the beautiful birds swooped in for a meal. Keep us updated. Can't wait to see your pics of the new place. Love to the family! ~Hugs~
