Snow for everyone....

I think most people who read my blog have gotten enough snow for one year already and I'm hoping no one is being affected by the ice storms that hit yesterday. So far since Julie arrived, we've had one day to get out and do a little shopping. It was truly a beautiful sunny day, something not seen enough of around here.

I found this beautiful bed for Daisy Lu that will bring us both a little sunshine everyday, and a little cow for cream!Yesterday we were back to the big snow so we did a little art work.
I did a little art with the camera...and Julie did a little art work with a brush.
Mostly we've done cooking....I think I've gained 10 lbs since Julie's arrival. She LOVES to bake! And then she volunteers to do the hard labor so works off all those cookies while I just take pictures!
Here's one of her calorie burning trips to the mailbox. Even Ole wasn't going to make that trip! Not Daisy either! Good thing she got out of there in time! That could have hurt! Whew!! She made it!I'm going to start my exercise routine today!

Cooking, shopping, photography - sounds like a wonderful day to me Eve! Laughed at that photo of Ole just watching Julie go to the mailbox. That dog bed was very cute!

Yep, that's some snow out there but it looks like you're all having fun. Great photos again Eve, great post. I'm not moaning about our snow down here any more!

You might want to hire her on fulltime.

Love the bright, sunshiney bed and both of your dogs are such characters, I adore them.

Good luck with your exercising. I'm still in hibernation mode, for the most part.

Ah....Daisy Lu seems to love that bed! She looks very contented and pretty laying there. Cute creamer! Would you please send Julie to my house? Or at least send some of the cookies and then you won't gain any more weight....I'll "sacrifice" myself in your place??

Aww, no matter the weather, it's clear that you and Julie are enjoying each other's company tremendously! She's taunting me with her gorgeous braid though, isn't she? You can be honest. I can take it. Some people are just born with mousy thin hair and can only envy those like her. :-):-)
Love the picture of Daisy in her new bed and your new moo cow creamer. Nicely done!

I can't remember if I have left a comment before or not, but I love the crazy birds. Guineas are so cute. I keep coming back to check on them. Today I had my one year old granddaughter on my lap and showed her the birds. I decided to do that because we were looking at a story book and the only comment she had was 'birds'. So I thought she would like the Guineas. She liked them, but she really liked the video of the one that was knocking on the door. "More knock knock knock." We watched it over and over. I finally turned off the computer and she cried. I thought you would get a kick out of that little story (o:

Yeah, that's it, make your company go out and brave the elements, risk frostbite and getting hit by the snow plow. hee hee . . . She looks like a good sport though.

There's the paperwhites! I just threw my bulbs away today : (

Chocolate pb chip cookies, yum! Pass one over, will you?
