Light at the end of the Tunnel with "Nature's Garden" Magazine!

I know it's only January and I live in the north and this is just the usual expected weather so I'm not complaining...really...I'm not...well maybe just a little! However I did get out shopping yesterday and noticed the beginning of the taunting of the mega stores....they are in the process of putting out all the new and latest gardening supplies, outdoor furniture and temptations! I can see getting ready for spring in a place like Alabama, but can we hold off up here until there is even a glimmer of warming sun!
At any rate I did receive my free issue of "Nature's Garden" Magazine...one of my very favorites!
Why is it free you ask?!!
If you notice it says up there on the right hand side "Shutterbugs!! See your photos in a future issue!" Well this is the second photo of mine seen in the issues of "Nature's Garden"!
The first was the beautiful Garden Spider I took at my good friend June's garden and the second is the little baby Garter snake held by Morgan's sweet little hands!

So to all you wonderful Shutterbugs that visit Sunny Side Up, what could be better than seeing my favorite photographer's photos in my favorite magazine!!

Get busy!!!

Congratulations! I think I'll buy a copy just to see your pictures.

Question: Did you put the magazine in three ring format? How'd you do that?

That's fantastic, Eve! What a wonderful honor! I'll have to look for this magazine so I can tell people I know that famous photographer! Your photos are very deserving of this....send them a guinea photo and they may put it on the front page!

Thanks you two!
Lynne...they just made it look like a three-ring binder, neat huh!!
The magazine comes out twice a year and is just full of nature and gardening, birds and critters...you wont be disappointed.

Ha Ha!! Thanks Mary...I could tell them how Guineas eat bad bugs too...but won't mention that they don't like snakes!!!

Way cool! I am sorry, but I would freak out if one of my grands were holding a snake. Silly I know, but true. I do have one of the girls holding worms (o:

I was in Home Depot the other day and they already have seeds on display. Talk about early, it'll be 5 months before we can plant anything outside. Congrats on getting another photo in the magazine.

Congrats and well deserved Eve.. great shots as always. I do see that this girl put on a jacket.. Not a coat mind you but a jacket, and the most amusing to me is that her dog gave up on her and stayed inside this time.. lol.. stay warm. It is supposed to get cold here again, only in the single digits, but I am afraid I may be complaining this time.

Love the crystal-clear quality of your macro shots. Congratulations on having your garden spider and garter snake featured! Here's hoping that Nature's Garden magazine is open to publishing more of your nature photos down the road.
