Brrrrrrrrrr

We are in for really cold air for the next few days and with the snow yesterday I decided it was time to find someone to plow me out. I made a call to the local hardware store who directed me to a nice fellow who came out and plowed my driveway. I should have told him the bad luck that runs in my family so he would have known his truck would break down the minute he pulled in! But in the end he made a semi-quick fix...had another truck come out and wa-la my driveway was bigger than it's been in a very long time! Even after all that he told me to call when I need him to come back. I put a light out to warm the guineas for the next few days and when I looked out last night before bed it looked like the neighbors were still awake!!
Go to bed guinea neighbors!!!!

Loved the guinea house shot! The moon behind the clouds added just enough light.

I can't believe how cold it was overnight. I woke up this morning to minus 22. Now sounds more dramatic in Celcius. For you in Fahrenheit that's minus 7.6. Anyway, that's about as cold as it ever gets here.

I still can't get over the snow and icy conditions you have to put up with Evie! I think there was a Guinea party going on down there! Very cosy looking.

Gosh, your shots always make me want to tramp up there with a few gallons of hot soup and warm cookies to help you thru this winter!! Hope you are keeping warm! That is a wonderful shot of the back 40 where those fowl neighbors live. Amazing sky!! :)

Hey, I've seen the boys in your guinea family and they look like hardcore partyers to me.

Nice to have a helping hand in times of need, isn't it?
