Just Another Day in the Yard

The Bluebird nest has gone from a few sprigs of grass to a beautiful work of grassy art! Way to go! to my hard working mom and dad!
 Butterfly sightings are increasing.
Apple blossoms just all of a sudden appear!
The daffodils are still standing tall.
 Changes are beginning.

 The porch is being utilized.

And my Dogwood tree never ceases to amaze me!

The little Tufted Titmice are very entertaining to watch...

 ...and are ever watchful!
Don't mess with MY suet!!!

Beautiful pictures. It is making me wish Spring was further along here.

Our daffodils are out and some trees are showing signs of almost starting to bloom.

But now we have over an inch of rain on the way this weekend, doh!

Oh Eve, I am so jealous of your gorgeous spring color! It looks warm and wonderful! I'm really hoping a pair of bluebirds will nest in one of our houses but I'm not optimistic.

Beautiful set of images Evie, where do I start.
Great butterfly shot, superb Apple blossom and that first Daff shot is amazing (a classic Evie shot). The Dogwood is a lovely colour and I see that you have evicted Mr Squirrel at last.

Thanks everyone! The dogwood flowers are now starting to turn white! So pretty! I don't know which color is my favorite!!
Roy! NO I didn't evict them! hahaha the babies and mamma are still in the box (checked today as a matter of fact!) This is a new box for the Bluebirds and they are using it just as I'd hoped! No eggs yet but a very nice nest!

I do believe Miss Eve that you live in the garden of Eden, your yard is alive with such color and I bet the fragrance is amazing. Ole, you are one large handsome boy, where is Daisy Lu? You didn't swallow her did you? I had bluebirds checking out the boxes today, spring is slowly finding us here in Maine. Eve, your photos never disappoint!

Eve, your garden is enchanting! I especially love the dogwood photos and the cat on the porch, who knows how to enjoy a fine spring day! Truly, all of your photos are great. Enjoy the spring, don't work too hard pulling weeds, and I hope to see you soon!

As always, great photos! I love the titmice. Here at the house, they fuss with the chickadees and wrens. It's amazing how much noise tiny birds can make!

Hey Evie!!! Finally, I'm blogging again - up and running and catching up! LOVE your photos, as always. The mountain is certainly "springing" forward - goodness. The same everywhere, seemingly. Such a warm winter we had, but that means an early, long spring which is rare and very enjoyable. LOVE your daffodils! Miss you!!!!!
