Porch Pictures and Pansies

It's getting a little festive around here. Just a tad. I painted the porch chairs red and picked up a little throw for the table.

I took two planters and made a table out of them (finally!) I filled the pot up with this and that and then topped it with rocks and a perfect fitted glass.

Pansies are all the rage this time of year so I figured I'd play along.
Who can resist purple and yellow?

NOT ME!

You have some great ideas here! How pretty and Fall Festive. You've inspired me to give hearth and home a little decorating attention.

The planter tables are a very clever idea Evie and yes who could resist those beautiful pansies, always a favourite flower whatever the colour.

Good Morning Evis! Ooooo I love it, love it all! Sweet little pansy faces and I love the Autumn runner on the table. I used great restraint and didn't steal that metal pitcher :) We may not have been axe wielding strangers but I could have been a pitcher lifter! Later Tater!

It's just so YOU! You have such a way with things, Eve. This is so autumnally blissy and fun and colorful - all it's lacking is a good friend sitting with you and two glasses of wine. Ah...! LOL!

Eve, love the painted red chairs, they look perfect with the new fall runner. The porch looks very festive, wish we could visit and enjoy a glass of apple cider together. Are pansy's more popular than mums in your location this time of year? Don't I recall someone, who shall remain nameless, does not have a fondness for this particular flower? They do look perfect in the metal bucket, great country touch!

Delightful! Let me know how the chairs weather. I've thought of painting mine for a couple of years now, but haven't gotten around to it.

Thanks guys! Anyone of you would be invited to come sit on my porch with me and enjoy the woods...well except you RR....I'm not sure about letting you back to lift my pitcher!!! hahahaha! Just kidding! I probably would have sent it home with you if I'd known you were eyeing it!! hahahaha!
Yes Julie you are right, I used to have a problem with the pansies...having to pinch them all the time....I'll let you know if these get the best of me...I was just drawn in by that beautiful color!

Evis I didn't lift the pitcher cause I knew it was happy there on the table :) We did however have our eye on the tractor though and think that IT could be happy here in our bit of country ;) It was just the right color to compliment the decor of CH's garage/workshop!
Enjoy your Sunny Side Up Saturday!

Love the idea of the stone-filled ceramic pot with a glass table top. Very cute! Your porch looks like a wonderful place to have some wonderful conversations! :-)

I always wondered what those little flowers were called in english, now I know! In french they're called 'pensée', which also means 'thought'.
Pretty pictures Eve :)
