Finding a new Place to Live...

...NOT me!!
But the five baby Bluebirds living in my back yard. I'd finally learned to mark my calendar to watch for their fledge and it worked! They were right on time. This little one flew out as I was photographing.Mom was watching me like a hawk so I didn't stick around long.I took these pictures yesterday and all 5 were out of the box this morning.I went to the peninsula town of Guntersville and took a few photos. It was VERY hot and my eyes were stinging from salty sweat as I photographed.I loved this little Halloween Pennant perched on the high bush. The Veteran's Memorial Bridge on 431.The river walk. Too hot to enjoy today. In the parking lot of the Chamber of Commerce I found this beautiful Camaro. Perfect car, perfect color. And the Crepe Myrtle added a nice touch. Now that Morgan is back to school I can get out and enjoy riding a little more.I don't get so upset when she forgets to bring something to school and I have to RIDE it over to her!!

I love the bird photos. It is fun to watch the birds just outside your door

Aw very very cute! Glad they've fledged ok Evie. I love the bark on those Crepe Myrtles. That shrub/tree seems to have everything going for it! Enjoy your new freedom! (-:

I used to have Western Bluebirds nesting on my lot in the Colorado Foothills. The hen did seem to be more uptight than the cock. She would attack the mirrors on my car. I had to tie plastic bags on them so she could go about her business.

How fun! a Holloween Pennant!

The baby bluebird is adorable. Aren't they neat to watch!

I certainly know what you mean about this heat. I've wanted to get in some fishing at the dam, but it's just too hot. However, that Camaro is pretty cool. Be still my heart!

I forgot to mention how those 'Vettes at the DeSoto Restaurant made my heart race the other day.

For a brief moment I thought Miss Eve had come to her senses and was moving to Maine to be near her FAVORITE cousin! DANG, I was wrong. Beautiful photos Eve, but I can certainly see it was very hot and steamy there. Keep your finger's crossed that Fall is on it's way!

Great pics Eve! Really nice ones of the birds and the landscapes. I like the new one of your bike - nicely composed!

I have to laugh at Steve's remedy to the Bluebirds pecking at his side mirrors. We have to do the same plastic bag trick for a pesky Towhee.

Eve hope our little teeny cool front makes it to you! Nice pictures and wish my Mom would have shown up on a Harley when I forgot something :)

Thanks everyone! We actually had a rain today!! Not enough to do much but it sure is nice to see!
Oh and I sure do miss seeing the Bluebirds out my mudroom window!

How much fun is that! Watching the little family grow up and move on. Love the '67 SS. Ron had a '72 Camaro when I met him, so the Camaro has a special spot in our hearts. My mom hated that hot-rod car. If only she knew all the stories... :)

Wow, Morgan is back to school already. I don't think it starts back up here until after labor day. I'm glad you're getting more riding time - Woot!

I bet you leave things out of Morgan's school bag on purpose Evie. {:)

How clever to watch the calendar for the bluebird fledging. Glad you were there! Those little pennants really gleam orange when they are on the end of a bush like that...great shots you took there. I can see the school office workers shaking their head as they hear your bike roaring up.."Sigh, there's that mother on the bike again."

Eve:

thank you Ms Doctor for your diagnosis. I couldn't figure out why my eyes would be stinging every so often. Never thought about the salty sweat.

so it must be true about things you read about on the 'net.

thanks again

I like your blacked out Sporty! I used to have a Sporty. I bought mine in 1999. It was a 1500 slammed to the ground. I stil tippy toed it unless I had thick soled riding boots on. I loved riding it! Sold it and got a softtail. Very pretty bike but almost got hit 3 times in one ride. I filled it up, took it home and put it on Ebay!

The camero is awesome! That's the car I've been wanting since I was in HS back in the 80's
