An Outing Part 1: Somethings Fishy

Debi and I met on a very lovely morning this week to get out and about and have Pizza and Wine this week. She was my guide and our Pizza place was in a beautiful section of the Historical District in Huntsville which had a little park and pond.
We met Elvis there......and his wife. The trees there were beginning to bloom! There were many ducks which included this brotherhood of Muscovy, a non-native species. This bridge lead us to what was, for me, an amazing sight.Hundreds......no, thousands of fish. When a young mom and child came to bring bread to the ducks and geese wild things started happening! The water turned orange, gold and slate.Oh and a coot gave us a view of his silly little foot! This Canada Goose was poised for action...Just waiting......for that smidgen of bread......and you better get it quick......before this guy comes along.......OR THIS GUY!!!These fish were HUGE!
I loved them all.
More to come.

Very cool Part 1! Did the ducks stand on the fishie's backs?

You two had Pizza and Wine? A beautiful park and pond! Two friends sharing a beautiful sunny day and takin' pictures! What more could anyone ask for?! Looking forward to Part 2 :)

Hi Evie, the Muscovy is are great character. They originate from Mexico and South America apparently. We have them over here, they tend to adopt a farmyard rather than the other way around. Love your Blossom shot - just great.

It's not too often you see a Canada Goose so up close and personal! At least not around here anyway.

The fish are gorgeous! Well fed to I would imagine.

Hey, I like your new profile picture! Casual but cool ; )

What great fishy colors! Some great shots of the fish and the Canadas together. But my favorite was the Coot's silly little foot!

That is a menacing looking fish- the large gold-ish one. Another fine capture!
