Brilliant idea Evie.
They are all pretty special and I am struggling to choose between the "Misty Morn" and the "Snow Geese" as my favourite.
Have a great New Year.

A very happy and wonderful New Year to you and your family Eve! I do have a favorite. Two that almost make it hard for me to pick one. Well they all make it hard to pick one but Daisy Lu nudges out to take first place. I have always loved that picture of Daisy. The second one, "that misty morning". I am so looking forward to all your headers for next year!!

Eve all the headers are wonderful, my favorite is of your Southern home with the porch light burning. Makes you just want to snuggle in with a shot of Jack Daniels oh, I mean hot chocolate. Keep that porch light burning for me I will see you in less than two months! Yipeee.... Blessings to you all and a Happy New Year!!!!!

I like the all, but really like the misty morning, the hydrangea, the pumpkins, the lit house, and the girls and Daisy Lu. You've had a great first year in your new house.

They're all bewitchingly beautiful, Eve. I'm also partial to your home with snow, porch lights glowing. As well the dock on the lake appeals. And the snow geese. Um, well, they're all rather beautiful! I'm no help!

I have loved each of your headers because of your artistic eye. One of which I do not have! I hope to train my eye in what I see with your examples! Keep em coming! Happy New Year Eve!

Amazing collection of photos, Eve! My favorite is the one of your house with the warm light spilling from the windows onto the snow! That one is a special one.

Happy 2010 to you and yours as well!

They are all fabulous! But if I had to pick it would be the Christmas header with the house and the snow. I agree all you want to do is go inside and cuddle up.

Happy New Year!

Now there's a worry! Some of these I really don't remember!!! Sigh! Without doubt, my favourite is the misty lakeside shot, but I also like that last one which I don't recall at all! Happy New Year Evie, so glad we've become friends!

Those are all gorgeous. What fun to see them all lined up like that. It's hard to choose a favourite out of those, however, I can't resist a happy dog running wild!

I can't pick one but I can pick two!
That Misty Morning and Daisy Lu. One is peaceful and makes me feel like it was the perfect day and the other one makes me giddy. Of course the one with the kids and Daisy Lu is also one of my faves.

Happy New Year Eve!

...what a cool post. Your headers are really creative. I just started changing my headers. It's a lot of fun. I really liked Summer fun with Daisy Lu--looks like pure joy! ...the pumpkin header really captures autumn...for that matter--they all capture their season. Very cool... Happy New Year!

So many really nice ones, you make it tough to choose. I have to go with Daisy Lu running, a nice capture. But mostly because I have a soft spot for dogs. [I used to train and field trial English Setters]
So would you scratch her belly and say it's from me... I do miss my dogs.

These are all gorgeous. I don't know that I could pick a favorite, but the hydrangea, the path in snow, the pumpkins, and the sassafras all kind of jumped out at me. Really beautiful headers for 2009. I like how they all are like a visual journal of your year. Can't wait to see what you've got for 2010!

Wow! These are beautiful photos, I love them all....especially the Christmas header of the front of the house at night - it looks so warm and wintery all at once, the lighting is great. I also like to go birding, I'll be checking out your blog in the future now, thank you! I also have a blog, but it's on tumblr and happens to be called Sunny Side Up (http://sunnysideup.tumblr.com)
But it's all about food only...but this is how I ran into your blog, I'll definitely be returning, thanks again!

very cool. you have had quite killer good shots here. this is a real gift you have. the punk-ins are cool, the butterfly and others ... but the blue in alabama snow i think is very cool. very cold looking but really classy.
