Yesterday I spent a little time going through some boxes that haven't gotten properly put away since the move. I was so excited to find a little bird feeder that I'd never used, all ready to be put outside. I decided to hang it under my Maine Buoy Bell. The wind catcher had broken off a long time ago from the strong winds of northern NY.I walked inside and by the time I got the camera to take pictures it had a visitor. These first two pictures were taken from the window. The little Goldfinch just fit in perfectly. While walking to the mailbox I decided to attempt to take pictures of the last of the falling leaves......I need a little more practice. Maybe next year! These are Nandina. They are just beautiful and are in the garden by the "old driveway" on my property.Back home the Goldfinch was still enjoying his new dinner mate!Happy Thanksgiving to all!

I love when I find stuff and have a use for it after all. The birds must be happy
You know it's perfect when the birds move right in.
Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family in your new home.
Happy Thanksgiving. (I can so-o-o see Indigo Buntings visiting that feeder).
Happy Thankgiving Eve. At least the Goldfinch and others will always have a permanent companion when they visit the feeder. FAB.
Maybe one of these days I'll learn to shoot moving objects also!
Funny but we had one little dark colored Goldfinch at the feeder today too. I've seen them in the trees here and there but not at the feeders. Love their little voices.
Have a nice Thanksgiving Eve.

Happy Thanksgiving to you as well, dear! I love Nandina, and love goldfinches. Hopefully, the Indigo Buntings will visit - that would so totally rock!
I love the two falling leaf/leaves pictures!!
Happy Thanksgiving to You and Yours Eve!!!
What a cute feeder and the perfect place to put it! That little goldfinch knows a great find when he sees it. Happy Thanksgiving!
Happy Thanksgiving Eve!
That last picture is just too adorable :)
Happy belated Thanksgiving Evie. I've been off the blogging scene due to a phone fault! Lovely leaf falls and that Nandina is such a beautiful, graceful plant, plus is colours up nicely too!
