I was inspired today by the "Nikon Sniper" www.nikonsniper.blogspot.com to just go out and take pictures and since I didn't plan on actually going anywhere I just when out to shoot.
Turns out there was plenty to photograph.
My first photo is the only "artistic" one I made.I'm very pleased with my findings. Thanks Stephen!
See Eve! These are great. I love several ... from the top, number 1, 2, 4 and 5 are my favs. Simple is good and my Dad told me I was quite a simpleton, so it appears you may be a simpleton as well. Keep it up. You might surprise yourself and become the queen of the simpletons. All the best. NikonSniper Steve
You know what Stephen, I'm probably the only one around who could be called a Simpleton and really take that as a compliment!! Thanks!!! (my very best friends would agree!!) I'm glad you enjoyed the photos. I really enjoy your blog and your stories as well.
Such abundance!!! How fun that these exquisite findings are in your yard!!! I can't pick a favorite, but those red leaves....the red leaves, oh Evie those are divine!
A simpleton!! That makes 4 of us, you know..., and I would always take it as a compliment. Steven gave you good advise. Just go take pictures. The world is one big "photo shoot" my dear. Very nice, especially the leaf on the ground. Keep looking...
Good Morning Eve! All very pretty captures. Simple is always good. Less is best kinda works for me too. I don't think I could ever run out of things to snap happy in my own yard. Enjoy your Alabama Friday!
Great post Evie, makes me want to get out in my garden now. Maybe when this rain and wind blows through I will. I love that second photo of leaves and the purple flower with the reddish background. Lovely colour combination.

Would you have ever seen the ladybug had you not been looking through the camera lens?

These are brilliant Evie and a fabulous new header.
Those are all really pretty. I especially like the red leaves of the Japanese maple and the ladybug shot.

Yup, sometimes you just got to get out and shoot. What fun!
They all look artistic to me! I love the first one and the red leaves and the little ladybug in the dead leaf! Great shots all of them.
These are great and thanks for turning people on the Nikon Sniper. I likes his idea
Great header Eve. Simple or NOT..these pics are all superb and you didn't have to go far to capture your art. FAB.
Awesome post Eve! That little ladybug looks so cozy, and those leaves, WOW that red is intense!
