Color

It's been rainy and a bit dark down here in the "sunny" south but the colors are coming to life.
Here are some scenes from the yard.

Very pretty. We've been blessed with a long stretch of unseasonably sunny weather the past few weeks. Now we're getting some of the gray rainy stuff. The autumn colours are a blessing, bright shining beacons of light and beauty bursting forth.

Lovely! It's nice to have color around you in the yard when everything is so dreary.

Eve, I love all of your shots, but the one with the trumpet is soooo pretty, very artistic. It's been very raining here too but the past 2 days have been a bit better. I'm just crossing my fingers for the weekend to be sunny so I can go out and go shutter crazy, lol :)

We're having a dreary day too, and the fall color is really underwhelming this year. And guess what: we had a snow shower today. You won't be having that for awhile, I think.

We are going to have a soggy weekend here too. I don't know how much shooting I'm going to get in. It's nice to see you get some color in 'bama.

Beautiful Eve. Very pretty series of shots. We are dark, dreary and drizzlie. No sun since last Saturday, no sun predicted today. I seriously need some sun. It does really smell like fall, I love that fall leaf smell :)

Hi Eve- your yard looks just like my yard (minus the Angel Trumpets)! Rain, rain, rain, rain, rain, rain, rain, rain, rain, rain, rain, rain, and more rain. I haven't been out all week to take photos- I need to wander our today and at least get some fresh air. :)

I'm glad you're able to enjoy some of the colors of Fall where you live Eve. I see it's 48 degrees there today so that is a bit chilly!

By the way, can you please email me back? I'd like to chat with you about my mom if that's okay. You can just respond to this email.

Thanks : )

Ah, but the gray skies really make these autumn colors "pop," eh? I love your assortment of autumnal photos, Eve!

It's looking lovely over there Eve! And I really like those berries - they would make a great fall decoration!

Those trumpets are so unusual Evie.
