Saying Goodbye

Well a week just flew by with Julie here. Poor Bill, her sweet husband who dropped her off and headed through the lake effect snow to a week long class in Ohio, had to drive through it again at the end of the week. But the morning they left it was a nice day and they encountered very little snow along the way. We had such a good time, even if we were snowed in for most of it. Thank you so much Bill for not flying to Ohio. Julie and I just loved our visit and who knows what spring will bring....a visit to Alabama??? Or another trip to Maine!!!

Oh, that makes me sad to see them go : ( I always hate that part, not knowing when you'll see them again. Glad the two of you made some nice memories though.

They're coming home to a lot of snow here too. So far it's been a great year for cross country skiing. This weekend I picked up the issue of Nature's Garden with your photo in it.

I love these photos - I get perspective of the beautiful place you live (for now) and all the vastness of the land. Hope you get to see Julie again soon!

Hope July and Bill had a safe journey home Evie. Glad you had the week to bake cookies together and even get out of the house once or twice! Did any of the Guineas sneak into the boot of her car? (-:

Still snowed in there I see. We have no snow to speak of here. Bet you will miss your friend.

Bon Voyage Julie, I'm so happy you had a great week together and I hope it won't be too long before are able to repeat it. I can't believe how much snow you have up there. It is 2.32 a.m. and I just looked outside. I actually saw some flakes coming down. It will be interesting to see what we wake up to.
