That car will go through anything!!
The Plow Man came at about 10:30 so we got out for a little bit. Took my mom home and Julie when to the Primitive Shop not far from my home.
I love this old phone booth in the corner of the shop.
Julie found this print and the wooden spoons, and I got the beautiful runner for my table.
Julie will be on her way home tomorrow (sad face here). Hopefully the Lake Effect snow will stop for at least one day so she wont have to endure that mess!!!Now she understands why I don't travel from November to March!!!
We got another 4 inches last night and it's far from over.
and a little cow for cream!
Yesterday we were back to the big snow so we did a little art work.
And then she volunteers to do the hard labor so works off all those cookies while I just take pictures!
Julie fixed the door props and Ole notices Daisy's head buried in the snow.
Julie says goodnight through the window and Ole is planning on tattling on Daisy Lu.
"Look at her Julie...I think she's eating poop or something!!"
"Daisy Lu!" says Julie "what are you doing???"
But it's just too cold to play so Ole decides to take the matter into his own hands.
"I'll stop her from that disgusting habit!"
"maybe it was just a mouse"
"oh dear Julie is leaving...what's going on here?"
"Get your little butt home dog!"
"if only I wasn't so slow"
Now the question we will try to find out is....will Julie decide to get chickens?
HELLO!!
Ole needs snowshoes. I had to carry Daisy Lu a little bit. Mostly to keep her from chasing the deer!
This was a tough walk and believe it or not Julie never fell down...me either (for once)!
The blue sky, and very old fort.
Sideways snowshoeing is always a good time!
Yesterday, we hunkered down and read garden books all day!
This winter has brought many a chuckle to my mouth, it's going to be expensive but I think quite comical.
Disclaimer...No dogs were spanked in this video...even though he deserved it.
However I did get out shopping yesterday and noticed the beginning of the taunting of the mega stores....they are in the process of putting out all the new and latest gardening supplies, outdoor furniture and temptations! I can see getting ready for spring in a place like Alabama, but can we hold off up here until there is even a glimmer of warming sun!
If you notice it says up there on the right hand side "Shutterbugs!! See your photos in a future issue!" Well this is the second photo of mine seen in the issues of "Nature's Garden"!
So to all you wonderful Shutterbugs that visit Sunny Side Up, what could be better than seeing my favorite photographer's photos in my favorite magazine!!
Get busy!!!
Morgan was finishing up her chores, so I went out and gave him an arm to the picnic table.
Ole would have liked to have given him a mouth to the table but I said NO!
Morgan finally got out and they visited for a bit then she gave him a piggy back ride to the coop.
I really think he just loves all the fun they have together.
On Sunday the snow started up again and no one came out but they had visitors.
Ole is always trying to lend a mouth!!
You be good you naughty boy!
And those feeders are no where near the ground!
Rachel was at her best friend Jackie's house last night and this is what was waiting for them in the driveway!
Jackie and her snow blower!
Did you lose it in the snow???
Rachel sees the fun in all situations!
It did start to snow here but not like it did just 2 miles south of here.
Time to refresh the feeder.
The sun is coming out!
And I thought I would let you know the guineas, although extremely bored, are warm and healthy.
If not a little confused.
