For Crist and Deb

Panda May
I have a friend whose dog passed on,
We cried sad tears that day.
Panda always brought a smile,
It was her spirit’s way.

Always waiting patiently,
For work, or family, or fun,
Whatever the job
She was sure to agree,
That it would soon be done!

“Get those cows”
“Get those birds”
Off she would race to be
The best darn cow dog,
The best darn bird dog
That anyone would ever see.

Bye sweet Panda,
We’ve left a bowl
In case you need a treat.
We’ll miss you dearly,
Because we know,
A better friend’s hard to beat.

Hi Evie

Sorry to hear about Panda, what a gorgeous looking dog! I thought I'd keep you company and now have a sore throat and runny nose too, so it's travelled across the pond.
That is a beautiful poem which I'm sure your friends really appreciate! Take good care

Hi Eve,

This is such a beautiful tribute to Panda. She was such a pretty little dog and when we lose one of our four-legged family members, the pain is no less than any other. Please let your friends know how sorry I am for their loss.

That' one of the hardest things - but won't the rainbow bridge be great?
