The Month of July

The month of July when by so fast!
The dragons came out...

The Blackberry Lilies popped...

The Salvia reached for the sky!

The Hummingbirds kept a watchful eye!

Tasty treats are growing...

...and we started building a shed!

Then we went to Ruby Falls...

...and The Incline!

And now we're back to work!

I hope your July went slower than mine!
I miss you all and hope to get back to blogging more regularly!

Hi Eve! I was wondering where you've been. It's hard to fit it all in sometimes. Love the pics! Looks like you've been having fun, too :-) I could use a shed for gardening "stuff." There's never enough room. Take care...glad you're back.

Hi Evie, great to see some of your latest garden images and that is a good looking shed.
Super shot of the falls.
Looking forward to more of your great posts.

Hi Toni! Everyone could use a good gardening shed! This one is not for me but I have one and maybe when this one is finished I can get some help shaping up mine! Thanks for stopping by!

Hi Roy! Boy I've missed visiting you! I really need to focus now!! hahaha with the camera too. Been so neglectful on these hot working summer days! Thanks for taking the time to say hi!

Hi Eve,

Time does fly. You have been as busy as a bee.
The new shed looks great....lots of space. Is it for gardening equipment or another purpose??

Good to see you back.

Well, you have been busy... the blogging will wait. It's always there.
You have a fig tree. Love 'em. Such wonderful fruit.... such a beautiful tree.
Enjoy the rest of the summer... it will be over before we know it.

Welcome back Eve, I have missed you and viewing your beautiful photography. Ruby Falls is an amazing place and the incline, wow! The storage shed is coming along quite nicely, I have visions of Guineas!

I love your shed! Time does go by too quickly! I have fond memories of Ruby Falls and that incline. My grandmother lived for years not far from the base of the incline.

It's good to hear from you, and I look forward to seeing you again! I hope the worse part of the heat will be over soon, before a bunch of plants start dying!

Nope, flew by, as summer months tend to do. :)
Nice recap of the month. Indeed you have been busy. Ruby falls looks like a spectacular place to visit - what colors!

Hi Cheryl! It'll be a catch all kind of shed, but I hope to do a little gardening around it if possible. Thanks for stopping by!

Hi farmlady! I hope to get the figs before the critters! I'll make a trip over to your blog soon! Been peeking but not much commenting.

Hi Julie! You would love to visit Chattanooga, just breathtaking! Maybe some guineas will wander up and make a home here!

hi Deb! I'm waiting for slightly cooler weather...just not too cool!

Hi Kari! That waterfall brought tears! It was that beautiful!

Very impressive! I do like that shed. Chattanooga is such a fun place to visit! Did you visit the aquarium? Summer has just flown by and my kiddos go back to school this week...so sad!

I love the little guy on the Dragonfly picture, I wonder what it is. Beautiful pictures, love how you caught the hummingbird. Where are the Ruby falls and the incline? Looks like a nice place to visit.

I think that is a Kadydid nymph George! Good eye! Ruby Falls and the Incline are in Chattanooga Tennessee. Also Rock City is a must see! All three are right there. It is worth any trip!

First thing I do when I read a blog is center button mouse click on every picture to expand them into another tab, this way I get to see the pictures full size :-) I like to see the detail.
Tennessee, I have to go back. Only visited Tellico Plains after riding the Cherohala Skyway from Tail of the Dragon. I have also driven across Tennessee on I40 with a stop in Memphis to see Elvis mansion :-)

Well George I see you don't have Alabama on your map. It is a beautiful state and if you look for "out and about in Alabama on my side bar you might see some really nice places to check out. I live very near Lake Guntersville and it is just so beautiful. Sadly many of the trees were taken out at the state park by the tornados on April 27th.
