Busy Summer Days

Seems I've been hiding lately. But I hope to get out and get some critter type photos soon.Morgan has been taking swimming lessons this summer (rather late in life) and she has gone from someone who wouldn't put her face in water 3 weeks ago to jumping off the diving board in the deep end of the pool and swimming her way out to jump in again!
I'm a very proud mom!

Oo good for Morgan! Sounds like she's having a ball!
I love your picture of the dragonfly and I LOVE your new layout and header, it looks lovely.

Way to go Morgan! Now you just need to persuade your mother to head Northeast to Maine, there is a lake and ocean waiting for you! Eve the new header is my favorite to date! Beautiful.

Always good to see a post from you, Eve! I'm so glad that Morgan has taken to swimming - it's a good thing to know and so much FUN! When I was a kid that is all I did - swim and play box hockey at the playground. Funny how no one I know remembers box hockey.
Neat shot of the dragonfly wings!

Yep, great new summery header. What is the butterfly Evie? Love the shy Dragonfly too. Well done Morgan, wish I had your courage! Sigh.....

Life sure does get busy, doesn't it! I know just what you mean. My best blogging intentions seem to be falling by the wayside.

Good for Morgan! I'm sure the hot weather is a big motivator!

Good for Morgan! Swimming is such good exercise and such fun, too. I love the dragonfly wings peeking around the grass :-)

What a transformation for Morgan! Perfect timing too for the summer. I really like this shot Eve and the title about hiding is perfect. Both of them could be on a Hallmark card...Really! I like your header too. Now get out there this weekend and ride! :)

Good for Morgan! I'm one of those hate-to-put-my-face-in-the-water kind of swimmers, but she'll become a much better swimmer for overcoming that.

I love the little dragonfly trying to hide behind that leaf!
Love the new header as well.

Yes, Eve, that is a gorgeous header!

Good for Morgan! It's something she can enjoy her whole life.

I miss swimming, it's such a wonderful, peaceful form of exercise. There just aren't that many places with warm water to swim around here and I am definitely a "fair weather" swimmer!

Kudos to Morgan! You're never too old to learn!! I have a friend who's 40 who finally signed up for swimming lessons - I'm so proud of her - just as I know you are so proud of Morgan!
