Your comment on the ruby-throated is very interesting. Mother's Day, for the past twenty-one years we’ve been in this home, has always been the day they appear at our feeder. Yesterday was no exception. At 10:00am we had one hovering in front of the kitchen window, unofficially announcing their return, with an additional bonus appearance by the Orioles.Mikehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05450401367820419328noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4689529839056846101.post-52485055832177773342008-05-12T08:50:00.000-05:002008-05-12T08:50:00.000-05:00Beautiful Images Eve.. Good one!

I bought the Liberty Apple because the tag said it was pretty trouble free...I will be very excited to actually try the apples because I've never seen any sold here. The trees are only about 5-6 feet tall right now so don’t know if they will bear fruit. I haven’t see any snakes around them so.....maybe not yet!
Haven't tried crab apple jelly yet either!! I'm planning on doing more home canning soon so I'll put that on my list of things to try!!

Thanks for stopping!Evehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06554593974838511759noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4689529839056846101.post-8080020497653984852008-05-12T06:27:00.000-05:002008-05-12T06:27:00.000-05:00The blossoms are slowly starting to bloom around h...The blossoms are slowly starting to bloom around here. The reflection in the frogs eye, on todays post, is just a plant not a tripod. I was lying on the ground with the camera set there so I didn't need a tripod but I did use my reflector. It was propped up by a stick to the right of the photo, good thing the frog was cooperative.John Thebergehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03060034070570889747noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4689529839056846101.post-6981305919882966512008-05-12T06:21:00.000-05:002008-05-12T06:21:00.000-05:00Lovely Apple blossom Eve, great photos as well.I u...Lovely Apple blossom Eve, great photos as well.

I understand from research that the Liberty Apple is a sweet eater.

Do you make crab apple jelly?

I am not going to say any wise cracks about 'Apples' and 'Eve' though!!

RoyAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
